Rates: Rooms with bathrooms: single 1952 RUR ($67), twin 2112 RUR ($73), rooms with a common bathroom: single 1440 RUR ($50), twin 1600 RUR ($55), triple 1760 RUR ($61).

Location Rating: Good. In the historical part of the city, not far from the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Tartar Mosque, the Museum Of Political History Of Russia, and the Saint Petersburg Zoo.

Proximity To Metro: Good. Right in between two metro stations: Petrogradskaya and Gorkovskaya, it will take you less than 10 minutes to get to either one.

Lobby Appearance: Clean and plain.

Go into the courtyard.

Room Appearance: Everything is new but plain. All 6 rooms have TVs, telephones, hairdryers. No air-conditioning. Smoking is allowed. Bathrooms are equipped with plain shower cabins, but everything is clean and nice.

Useful Nearby Businesses: Not far from the hotel there are some European cuisine restaurants, a beauty parlor and some clothes stores.

Hotel Restaurants: There is a small brightly illuminated kitchen with 2 or three tables for having breakfast and all kinds of kitchen utensils for those who like to cook themselves.

Other Amenities: Transfers, visa support, tours, negotiations room, internet, fax, photocopying, laundry services, translations and interpreting, and Russian language classes offered.

Would I Stay Here? If I were coming with my friends aged 15 to 25, then yes. If I were going on a nice trip with my husband - then no.

Staff Speaks English? Yes.

Comments: This hotel belongs to the Zlatoust (it can be translated as Golden Mouth) school for foreign students (people of all ages) that organizes tours to Russia for the purpose of studying Russian.
