Location Rating: Very good. In an upscale neighborhood, on a hill, next to a long, winding souvenir/craft market street. Interesting neighborhood.
Proximity To Metro: A 15 to 20 minute walk to Poshtova Ploshchad metro station.
Lobby Appearance: You know you have just walk into a quality, small hotel.
Room Appearance: Nice. New. But some rooms had traces of cigarette stink. Tiny bathrooms in the least expensive rooms.
Useful Nearby Businesses: Lots of vendors out on the street during the war weather.
Hotel Restaurants: I like their tiny cafe. There is a nice little private room that has just one table for 2 or 3. That's where I would eat. During the warm months, you can eat on the rooftop terrace. They also have a restaurant undergoing renovations and it should open in December.
Other Amenities: Internet access in every room.
Would I stay here? Yes.
Staff speaks English? Yes.
Comments: The hotel has 30 rooms. Some rooms were updated 2 years ago. Room 204 is clean and fairly modern. It has a 13" TV, and it definite traces of cigarette smoke while I was there. Room 301 is a luxury suite. It has separate jacuzzi and shower rooms, a mini bar and a 20 inch TV. I liked the decor of Room 306, and it was updated 2 years ago, but it had traces of cigarette smoke too. Breakfast is included. Rooms have air conditioning. I liked this hotel. And the location is very interesting.
