Volga Hotel & Office Complex K +7 (095) 280-7729 www.hotel-volga.ru Street Address: 2 Dokuchaev Lane - Moscow, Russia
Location: Fair Nearest Metro Station: Sukharevskaya Staff Speaks English? Some. Would I Stay Here? I don't know? I couldn't see the rooms. * A Disappointing Visit * The Volga was built in 1980 and features 300 apartments. There are two buildings. One is 12 stories. The other is 16 stories. They say they are constantly renovating the rooms. And they have grand reconstruction plans for the hotel. It looks like it will be jazzy. Since I arrived on a Sunday, they said I couldn't see the apartments. I went to the second building and they said the same thing to me. From the brochure photos, it looks like they have at least two apartments that are half-way decent. They have hardwood floors. The lobby had a bar with attractive fake greenery. An air hockey table was also there. From a hallway that I saw, it looked encouraging for there being good apartments. But the location is not that great in my opinion. I disapprove of this poor attitude toward showing the key product (the rooms/apartments).
