Street Address: 5th Sovetskaya ul. 3/13, 1st floor with separate entrance

Rates: Single 4070 RUR, double 4810 RUR, extra bed 740 RUR.

Location Rating: Very Good. Just a few minutes walk from the cultural center of the city.

Proximity To Metro: Good. 10 minutes walk from Ploschad Vosstaniya metro station and Moskovsky railway station.

Lobby Appearance: Very small and nothing special.

Room Appearance: All 6 rooms are doubles and quite small. I found them very stuffy (no air-conditioning) and not very clean. Bathrooms were smelly.

Useful Nearby Businesses: There’s a grocery nearby and a small café. The Polish Consulate is across the street. It’s easy to walk to Nevsky where there are lots of shops.

Hotel Restaurants: Continental breakfast is included. The kitchen area is VERY small and dark. You can buy tea or coffee and some snacks in the evening. The price list is on the wall.

Other Amenities: Transfers, visa registration.

Would I Stay Here? No.

Staff Speaks English? Yes.

Comments: Credit cards accepted, but not American Express. It’s a very new place opened only in May 2004.
