Location Rating: Not in the city center.

Proximity To Metro: They say it is maybe 5 minutes away. But on my map, the metro is not close.

Lobby Appearance:

Room Appearance: 7th floor is a mix of old and new. Room #712, which is a $35 room, is clean, basic, not terrible. It has a 13 inch TV. Room #1319 on the 13th, which goes for $108, floor has nice light colors, a 13 inch TV, and a king-sized bed. It's a comfortable room. I liked it. But no AC. You do get a fan however. On the 10th floor I saw room #1036. (The 10th floor has the nicest hallway while the other floors I saw had bits of oldness.) Room #1036 has air conditioning, a 13 inch TV, a relaxation room and a bedroom. It's a nice room and it has a view of the river and the distant Statue Of The Motherland.

Useful Nearby Businesses: I noticed the hotel's exchange rate was 4.90 for a US dollar, but go towards the river, walk left, and up on your right will be another exchange place with a better rate. On this day, the rate was 5.05 at that exchange place, although I saw other places not nearby offering 5.10. A pharmacy is also around the corner.

Hotel Restaurants: They've got a nice, modern, comfortable cafe with boom-boom music and a fish tank with "tiger barbs" and other fish. On the first floor is a large restaurant with a lot of space and not many tables, so it should be quiet there. The Slavutich Hotel also has a lobby bar.

Other Amenities: Of course, they have a casino. It seems like all hotels have casinos except the smallest.

Would I Stay Here? On the 10th floor.

Staff Speaks English? Yes.

Comments: I was told that if you stay in a double room, it is possible to pay just half while risking having an unknown roommate in the other bed. Breakfast ranges in price from $5 to $9. The airport is 15 to 30 minutes away by car. I was told they have approximately 500 rooms, then I was told maybe 450.
