Senator Apartments - Serviced Apartment Complex
Kiev, Ukraine www.senator-apartments.com.ua Phone: +38-044-200-77-55 email: office@senator-apartments.com.ua Street Address: 6, Pyrohova Street Rates: $120 to $490 with discounts for longer terms. Location Rating: Excellent. Nice neighborhood. Proximity To Metro: Five minute walk at most to Universitet metro station Lobby Appearance: Classy. New. Expensive. Room Appearance: Absolutely fantastic! Useful Nearby Businesses: A bank with a cash machine is across the street. Also across the street is an extremely ritzy French restaurant called "Surprise." On the first floor are sweets, chocolates, ice cream. As soon as you walk in, you know you are in an elite place. A guard outside will make you put your camera away. No photos! Not even outside the building. Down the block are other high quality eateries. And if the Senator Apartments have made you poor, there is a McDonald's very close by. Hotel Restaurants: No hotel restaurants. Just apartments. Other Amenities: Daily cleaning. Twenty-four hour guard. Free parking. Would I Stay Here? This would be my favorite place to stay in Kiev, if money was not an issue. Staff Speaks English? Yes. Comments: They have 23 apartments and they were all occupied during my visit. This is a 19th century building that has been completely modernized. The Senator Apartments has been open only 6 months. One or two other apartment buildings are in the planning stages. These apartments have everything. I saw apartment #44. Wow... expertly designed with a modern, yet very cozy theme. Spacious. Top-of-the-line with everything! Everything! It absolutely is very comfortable and feels like a home. The English-speakers at the front desk are there from 7:30am till 10:30pm. But a well-dressed guard is always on duty. The neighborhood is very nice! It is an easy, simple walk from the metro station. Many cafes and restaurants are in the neighborhood or nearby. An unusual orthodox church is one block away. A park is nearby. You can walk to the very heart of the city in a pleasant 15 or 20 minutes. This hotel location is in the center. Lots of hustle and bustle, yet it is on a more quiet side-street. The apartment I saw had a spacious bathroom with a washer(!). The apartment also had air conditioning, a big 27 inch TV, very nice fully equipped kitchen, tall ceilings, nice halogen lighting, spacious livingroom with a balcony. Everything is spotlessly clean. Saint Petersburg, Russia has a couple of apartment hotels, but nothing as nice as the Senator Apartments. I am extremely impressed.
