This is a reader-supplied hotel review... Repin Mini Hotel, 136 Nevsky Propect, St Petersburg. i stayed here 20-24 september 2005. hotel location: excellent, only a 5 minute walk from the moscow train station and right on the nevsky prospect. this place gets a huge thumbs up and is the best place i stayed while in russia. the mini hotel is spotless, and the showers are great. at 2100rubles per night, with buffet breakfast includes it is great value for money and the staff were friendly and helpful and spoke reasonble english too. i was lucky enough to meet the owner and spoke with him. he is german and the politest guy that i met in russia. the staff stood up and addressed me by my surname whenever i entered the lobby and always made an effort to say hello and be friendly and courteous. i had a wonderful 3 night stay here and would definately recommend it to others. it is a little hard to find. when you see 136 nevsky, go down the alley and there is a big brown wooden door. press the buzzer and they let you in. they have a little sign on the outside. i loved my stay here and the rooms are cleaned each day, sound proofed and spotless. as i said it is the best place i stayed in russia. would i stay here again:: hell yes
