This is one of my top recommendations. The Rittenhouse Bed & Breakfast is a 10 room mini-hotel which opened in 2000. I think it is a great, romantic, private place for couples to stay. The hotel is located down a quiet sidestreet near the very pleasant Rittenhouse Square Park. This block reminds me of Bryant Park in New York City (although Bryant Park is more impressive).

Guests of the Rittenhouse Square Bed & Breakfast can easily walk to Walnut Street to enjoy some of the city's fanciest restaurants. The theater district is also within easy walking distance.

Between 5 and 7pm the hotel has a wine reception in the lobby, where pleasant piano music plays from a stereo. The hotel has 3 floors with an elevator. The second and third floors each have one computer for accessing email and the internet (free). I saw 3 rooms here. My favorite was room 309. It had a sitting room, skylight windows and it was just a very comfortable room.

The hotel can do things like get theater tickets if a guest request this assistance. In the basement is an eating area (for breakfast).

I really think it would be a treat to stay here. It's a special place.
