Rates: From $109 to $169, as of December 2004.

Location Rating: Very close to airport. Sewage treatment center is also near. I noticed no stink in the air during my visit. Not much else is here.

Lobby Appearance: Recent white-ish marble floor. Blue-ish aqua carpet. Wood trim in a cherry wood color. The pool is right there behind tinted glass.

Room Appearance: Rooms look fresh, but will be updated soon. (They look decent.) Rooms have wireless internet access, 27" TV, WebTV and video game console.

Useful Nearby Businesses: A gas station is across the street. There is nothing else nearby besides other hotels.

Hotel Restaurants: "The Landing Bar & Restaurant" and "Players Sports Bar." The restaurant is nice. Breakfast is free for "Hilton Honors" members. There is a cost for others. The Sports Bar has a lot of really dark areas. There are two small pool tables. You can play for a buck ($1). The bar also has a two person hockey game and an old "Missile Command" video game from the early 1980's.

Other Amenities: Really nice one person business center, but the room was quite hot. The fitness center is small and cramped with equipment. The quantity of equipment is a little better than average. The pool area is comfortable, but you will be on display to everyone who passes through the lobby. The whirlpool area is in a separate room that I considered to be very bland. Pool and fitness room each require your keycard to access. Pool has a maximum depth of 5 feet.

Would I Stay Here? Yes.

Comments: Coin operated washer/dryer room is on the fifth floor. I heard no airplane noise here. They have 10,000 square feet of meeting space. Parking is free. The rooms are fine.
