Rates: From $79 to $145, depending upon demand (as of December 2004).

Location Rating: It is actually located on the Tinicum Boulevard hotel strip. There are 7 hotels here in an isolated location near the airport. The vibrant center of the city is far away.

Lobby Appearance: In front of the reception desk is an area that looks like a living room in somebody's home. There is a sofa, a few chairs, a fireplace and a computer desk where one person can surf the web or check email for free. Nearby is a breakfast room with a large TV.

Room Appearance: Comfortable, fresh rooms.

Useful Nearby Businesses: Ruby Tuesday restaurant is next door. The nearby Embassy Suites also has a good restaurant. That's it. This location is isolated.

Hotel Restaurants: None. They do have a breakfast bar though, which is free. It often includes sausage, egg, biscuits. Sometimes they have French toast. Ruby Tuesday will also provide room service.

Other Amenities: "Free local calls." Kids stay free, or a third or fourth adult can be added at no additional cost. About 75% of rooms are non-smoking. Pets under 25 pounds are allowed. (Requires a $25 deposit.) Free USA Today newspaper. Dual data ports in all guest rooms with guest voice mail. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24 hours a day. Coffee maker and hair dryer in every room. Ironing boards, irons. The fitness center is weak. It is a tight room with just 4 pieces of equipment. Free wireless internet access is available in the lobby.

Would I Stay Here? Yes.

Comments: The hotel has 152 rooms. They are frequently sold out on weekdays. (Weekend rates will be lower than weekday rates.) All of the hotels in this "hotel strip" are fairly new. There is no interesting scenery here.
