*Atrium is a vast indoor space with a jungle of green fauna and delightful ponds patrolled by intriguing ducks and big koi. Wow! *

Location Rating: Near airport. There is nothing interesting outside of this building. No interesting scenery.

Lobby Appearance: The general manager's desk is right there. He is not hiding somewhere in a back office. So if you are not happy, the lead executive of this facility is within easy reach.

I love the 5 story atrium. It feels like being in a resort. It doesn't seem like being at the airport at all. They have a huge number of plants here. I like the sounds of the water and the little foot bridges over the water. Huge fish can be easily seen. Little ducks happily paddle and waddle about. It is a really impressive atrium.

Room Appearance: Superior to the nearby Sheraton Suites, which has a similar type of room. The living room is more attractive with a nice wood television case housing a 26 inch TV; art is on the walls; a pull-out sofa bed is there; a table with chairs, wet bar, microwave, refrigerator, WebTV, video games, high speed internet, two dual line phones.

Useful Nearby Businesses: Ruby Tuesday restaurant. That's it!

Hotel Restaurants: The "Embassy Grille." This is a very attractive setting to have a meal. It is in the atrium area. You can hear the sounds of water. Lots of plants are everywhere. I liked the dining tables with the canopies. It looked very comfortable.

Other Amenities: They have a small indoor pool with a maximum depth of 5 feet. It was a little crowded during my visit. Nobody was using the jacuzzi though or the sauna. The fitness room is small and cramped with just 6 machines.

The Embassy Suites has a free cook-to-order breakfast, and from 5:30pm to 7:30pm there is a free "manager's reception" where you can party it up with free drinks, including alcoholic drinks, and light snacks.

Free airport shuttle service every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day.

Would I Stay Here? Yes.

Comments: In the room, you could forget that you are in a hotel. This hotel is a place where you can feel refreshed. This hotel and the Marriott Airport hotel (which is connected to the airport) are my favorite Philadelphia airport hotels. The Embassy Suites Hotel has 263 two-room suites.
