Location Rating: Far from the center, but very close to the metro. This hotel is located in a very upscale, brand new, quiet residential district with expensive houses and apartments along the river.
Proximity To Metro: A 5 to 7 minute walk to Minskaya metro station.
Lobby Appearance: Small, new lobby.
Room Appearance: This hotel has 19 rooms and is 4 years old. The rooms are big with wood floors and attractive local watercolor art. There is a certain plain-ness to the rooms, but they are like new.
Useful Nearby Businesses: Oh, I found a great pizza place! Go to the river. When you see that old building they are reconstructing, the pizza place is right next door. My guide and I had a delicious 4 topping pizza there. Brand new. Pleasant environment. Of course, there are other nice places to eat in this neighborhood. Money is here.
Hotel Restaurants: They have a nice 4 table bar/cafe.
Other Amenities: Internet access in the rooms.
Would I Stay Here? Yes. I think it would be especially pleasant to go for a walk here in summer. There is quite a nice, wide, long, brick-paver walkway along the river with handmade rock sculptures.
Staff Speaks English? Yes. And German too.
Comments: The largest room has two big bedrooms with large beds. The room has a 20 inch TV. I sure was surprised to see the obvious wealth of this neighborhood.
