* Terrific 18th Floor Views From Their Cafe/Bar. Great Facility. Excellent Service Attitude *

This Novotel location is quite nice. It opened in September 2002 and has 255 air conditioned rooms. They have gated parking watched over by a security guard. The lobby is very classy, new, modern and super clean. The hotel staff has an excellent service attitude. Taxi service is available 24 hours a day and they say they can pick you up at the airport for less than you'd pay an ordinary airport taxi driver (which have a notorious reputation for price gouging). They have a concierge who they say can do anything. Safe deposit boxes are at the front desk.

Guest relations pro Svetlana gave me the facility tour. The rooms, of course, are very nice with a simple, modern style. Even the smallest rooms are big. Svetlana says all of the French owned Novotel locations have a similar decor. I found the rooms to be spacious with high ceilings. They do have non-smoking floors. The double beds are big.

One of my favorite areas of the hotel is a cafe/bar called "The Top." There are terrific 18th floor views. There is also a small gym up there on the 18th floor with smaller windows. And you can get a massage there.

This is in the center of the city. The internet cafe "Cafe Max" is right down the block. That would be a good place to check email, or you can do it from your room if you bring a laptop. The metro is very close to the hotel. It's a good place with rooms that have a modern design theme.
