Marriott Royal Aurora Hotel J +7 (095) 937-0055 Street Address: Moscow, Russia
Location: Excellent. Nearest Metro: Staff Speaks English? Yes. Would I Stay Here? Yes. * Yikes! Another hotel that wants an arm and a leg! I love the atrium restaurant area. * Among the three Marriott hotels that are in the center of the city, this one is the nicest. I really liked the corridors with their navy blue carpet and cream-colored walls which feature attractive paintings and good hallway lighting. The first room I saw was a standard room and I was surprised with all that it had. The bedroom and bathroom areas are big! However the next level room I saw was about the same size, but had a smaller bathroom. The rooms are certainly comfortable and well-appointed. It's a classy place. At the bottom of a large atrium is an attractive eating area. As you enter the restaurant you see and hear the sounds of trickling/babbling water in a quiet fountain. That is a nice touch. There are other attractive, comfortable eating areas in the hotel. It's a nice place. I prefer the Ararat Park Hyatt for less money though. As I left, two doormen stood ready to say goodbye. Outside shops and restaurants are everywhere.
