Rates: Single $110 - $130, double $ 130 - $150, deluxe single $120-$140, deluxe double $140-$160. Prices vary in summer and winter. Extra bed $20.

Location Rating: Excellent. It’s located in a busy area of the city where you can find all sorts of activities from small cafes to big restaurants and casinos. There’s the Cathedral of Our Lady of Vladimir (Vladimirsky Cathedral) right in front of the metro station. An attractive, brand new shopping mall is also there, and if you feel like getting some freshly baked bread and buns, it’s the right place to go.

Proximity To Metro: Two minute walk to Vladimirskaya/ Dostoyevskaya Metro Station.

Lobby Appearance: This mini-hotel is located on the second floor and to get into the lobby area you first have to pass by a security man who’s sitting at the entrance. The staircase is brand new and brightly illuminated. The lobby is small but very cozy with a big mirror on one of the walls.

Room Appearance: They have 15 rooms: 11 standard singles/doubles and 4 deluxe rooms. All rooms have their own air-conditioning and it felt so pleasantly cool once we entered into some of them! While the general manager was showing me around he mentioned all rooms have Italian furniture and lamps. The rooms have: satellite TV, mini-bar/fridge, telephone and anti-allergic pillows. Bathrooms are very clean and brand new; some rooms have baths, some shower cabins. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms.

Useful Nearby Businesses: Numerous cafes, restaurants, stores of all kinds, a shopping mall.

Hotel Restaurants: There’s a "Kristoff Restaurant" on the first floor where customers are served breakfast. It’s open 24 hrs. And they also offer 24-hour room service.

Other Amenities: They have a special Luggage Room for customers who leave late in the day but have to check out in the morning. They offer a wireless WiFi internet connection for their customers which costs only $10 per 24 hrs irrespective of traffic. It’s a good deal especially if you want to share your impressions of Saint Petersburg with your friends and family! Safety deposit boxes are available at the reception. The general manager said that soon one of the rooms will have a sauna! If you bring some DVDs they’ll play them for you from the reception. Also they offer: visa support and registration, photocopying/ fax services, all kinds of reservations (restaurants, clubs, tickets), laundry and drycleaning services.

Would I Stay Here? Yes. It’s such a nice place with such friendly people working there!

Staff Speaks English? Yes.

Comments I was really impressed by the hotel's security. Video cameras almost everywhere…and also! I think it's one of the few mini-hotels that have electronic locks on the doors instead of just keys. And there's a very cozy hall with an enormous leather sofa and two chairs where you can hang out with your friends in the evening.
