There are 3 really big hotels here. Alpha has the best rooms. Gamma Delta has the best lobby. And then there is the Vega. I sure was surprised to see that I had to pass through a metal detector to enter the lobby. Two security guys checked everyone at the door. And 2 cops were there too!

The lobby is old. The room prices are cheap, from 1140 to 2300 rubles. That tells me the rooms are probably pretty bad. I was denied a chance to see the rooms due to every room being occupied, which seemed believable since there were so many kids there. I think you will be much more comfortable at either of the other two nearby hotels. This one seems to attract a less affluent type of guest (which requires metal detector screening of everybody).
