Street Address: Mayakovskogo ul. 36-38, apt.2, 2nd floor with elevator.

Rates: single $55-$85, double $65-$105 (for 1 person), $70-$110 (for 2 people), extra bed $20-$30, single without a bathroom $50-$70, double without a bathroom $55-$75

Location Rating: Very good. In the heart of the city. Less than 10 minute walk to Nevsky Prospect. Clean and nice neighborhood.

Proximity To Metro: Very good. Seven minute walk to Chernyshevskaya or Mayakovskaya metro stations.

Lobby Appearance: Freshly painted and brightly illuminated staircase leads to the door into the classy and spotless lobby. The hotel is located in a historical building of the late XVIII and early XIX centuries, the architectural decorations have been preserved both inside and outside. Also in each room there is an ancient fireplace (not allowed to use it).

Room Appearance:  Nine rooms (2 singles, 5 doubles, 2 rooms without bathrooms) Each room has a TV, a telephone, a hair-dryer, a fan or a heater depending on the season. Anti-mosquito plugs available during summer-time. Smoking is allowed. Rooms are very clean, with new furniture and modern bathrooms.

Useful Nearby Businesses: There is a grocery store in the same building, and numerous mini-businesses across the street and in the neighborhood. Restaurant "Piter" is just a few steps away from the main entrance.

Hotel Restaurants: They have a small but nice kitchen where breakfast is served. Every day guests fill in a special "breakfast-questionnaire" (English, German, French) where they write what and how many they want to have for breakfast, and when.

Other Amenities: Free safety deposit boxes at the reception, free tea and coffee 24 hours. Paid internet access from the room. There's a big city map on the wall in the corridor that can help you find your way to any corner of Saint Petersburg. By 2005 their guests will be able to use a brand new sauna which is ready now but there's no electric hook-up for it so far.
