Would I Stay Here? Yes.

The Hotel Eurasia opened in May 2003 and has 18 rooms on 4 floors with 5 different types of rooms. There is no elevator. The facility has central air conditioning, and small hangout areas are on the first and fourth floors. The hangout areas were not comfortable looking to me. I liked the lighting in the corridors. I didn't like the lighting in the rooms, but I loved the color combinations of tile in the bathrooms I saw.

The entrance to the hotel is directly from the street and signage makes the hotel easy to locate. Rates are $80 to $110 per night as of 1/27/04. Breakfast is included. There is a possibility to check your email for free, but you can only fiddle with their computer for a few minutes.

In May they will open a new hotel about 2 blocks away. The location of this hotel is in the Petrogradskaya section where the local architecture is interesting.
