* Unusual Dining Rooms *

The hotel was originally built in 1980 for the Olympic Games. In 2001 it had its last major renovation, but the manager says they are constantly making improvements.

There is another Soyuz Hotel that is owned by the Ministry Of Defense. These are two completely different, unrelated hotels, and this one is much newer and nicer.

The rooms I saw were nice. I was surprised to see their dining areas. It is like you walk down a little street by different little buildings, and inside is a unique dining area. One was Asian and very attractive. Another room had an Irish pub theme. Another room had a Wild West theme (USA) and another had a Russian theme. And there was one other room. They also have normal dining areas. I saw that a big party was being prepared in one of these areas with lots of balloons. - they had done a great job!

Luxury suites have air conditioning and safes. It is a quality hotel. You will probably need a driver to get there.
