Rates: The most expensive room is $209. And the cheapest is a little less than $16. For that price, somebody else may take the other bed in the room. Or you can guarantee the entire room to yourself by paying 75% more. So the cheapest whole room is $27.
Location Rating: Poor.
Proximity To Metro: I think it is far away. I got here by car.
Lobby Appearance: Really nice brand new lobby.
Room Appearance: Room #648 is the best. It is a brand new luxury room that is like an apartment with a bedroom, living room, and large bathroom. It has a 19 inch TV. In the bathroom are slippers, a bathrobe and hair dryer. Next I saw room #646. Oh man, it's ancient with an old musty smell. And nearly all the rooms here are like this. They are gradually updating the hotel and from walking the corridors and stairwells you can see that progress is being made. So probably not far into the future they will have more renovated rooms available. The cheapest room I saw had a musty smell, traces of cigarette smoke, and no bathroom. You'll have to share shower and toilet facilities when choosing the cheapest room.
Useful Nearby Businesses: Right outside you can buy fruit from some kiosk vendors. A supermarket is next door, plus a laundry service.
Hotel Restaurants: They have a nice cafe.
Other Amenities: Free parking out back.
Would I stay here? Hmm... only in the luxury room. But the location makes it definitely not anywhere near my top picks.
Staff speaks English? No.
Comments: The hotel has 400 "places." It was the first time I was exposed to the concept of a hotel actually offering just a bed in a room with the possibility that a stranger could be joining you in the other bed. In my mind, I imagine that somebody snoring, have smelly farts, and stuff like that. It isn't for me. But you can be a gambler and pay the lower price and hope that you won't get a roommate.
