Gamma Delta Hotel     J    +7 (095) 737-7055            www.izmailovo.ru

Street Address: 71 Izmailovskoe Shosse - Moscow, Russia

Photo: Gamma Delta Hotel - Moscow, Russia

Location: Great if you want to spend a lot of time shopping at Moscow's biggest souvenir market. Not so great if you want to visit the Kremlin, although the metro is close by.

Nearest Metro: Izmailovsky Park

Staff Speaks English? Some.

Would I Stay Here? Yes, but I prefer the new rooms at the Hotel Alfa next door.

* Great Lobby! Comfortable. A Nice Place To Relax While Souvenir Hunting *

Gamma Delta has a much nicer lobby area (excellent), which is like a mall, compared to the nearby Alpha Hotel, but Delta's new rooms are not as good. They are fine, but Alpha's are just better.

The Delta has non-smoking floors. Rooms were renovated 3 or 4 years ago. Business-class rooms are fine (but Alpha's were much more creatively put together.)

The Delta has no key ladies. They use a different system where you need a keycard to enter the floor.

Amazingly, all 3 of these big hotels were fully booked. But someone standing a distance outside the hotel was offering hotel rooms (probably had a connection with one of the hotels). A fair was happening and a ton of people were at these hotels.

Check out my info on these other hotels: Alpha and Vega.
