Street Address: Sadovaya ul. 32/1 apt. 170 (entrance from Apraksin Pereulok), door code 170.

Rates: Suite for 2: 95 EURO, suite for 1: 85 EURO, single 60 EURO, double 70 EURO

Location Rating: Very good. Located in the business and cultural center of the city this mini-hotel gives you an opportunity to be not only close to major sights but to explore one of the most interesting areas of the city! Three  minutes to Sadovaya/Sennaya Ploschad metro station; 15 minute walk to Gostiny Dvor metro station.

Proximity To Metro: Excellent. About a 3 minute walk to Sadovaya/Sennaya Ploschad metro station, or a 15 minute walk to Gostiny Dvor metro station.

Lobby Appearance: This is a nice apartment that has been transformed into a small hotel.

Room Appearance: This mini-hotel features 4 rooms, each with two beds. One of the rooms (the suite) has a private bathroom with a toilet; the other 3 share a shower with a sink, a toilet with a sink,
and a full bathroom with a shower. Rooms don't have air conditioning. The building dates back to 1903 and walls are almost 1 meter thick. So this might help the building stay cooler during hot days.

Useful Nearby Businesses:
There is an internet café not far from here (Gorokhovaya ulista 32), a bank, an ATM, numerous cafes and grocery stores. Even a theater!

Hotel Restaurants: They have a cozy dining area combined with a "sitting-room" that has comfortable sofas, a big screen TV, a music center and various small details that make the interior alive. Breakfast (included into the price) is served at any time and tea/coffee and snacks are free during the day. The kitchen is fully equipped and sometimes guests just gather together in the evening and have big "family" meals sharing somebody's culinary creation.

Other Amenities: Every guest has keys both to the room and to the apartment. A washing machine and an ironing set are available upon request. Visa support + visa registration = 30 EUR.

Would I Stay Here? Yes.

Staff Speaks English? Yes. (Natasha, the owner, has been to the United States numerous times and speaks English perfectly.)

Comments: I was impressed with the homey atmosphere of this bed & breakfast. It is a friendly place and I really felt comfortable, relaxed and at home there. Smoking is not allowed. Pets are not welcome.

We stayed at the B&B Assembly in Oct 2005. Loved the place.....it's
absolutely clean; Natalia wasn't around, but she left a lot of materials
in the B&B - those were very helpful in providing additional tourist
information. Very friendly people, her mom went the extra mile whenever we
had any queries (despite language barriers - she didn't know English,
we don't know Russian). Breakfast was fantastic - much better than what
a lot of hotels offer. The location is great. Price is also hard to
beat. Plus there is free flow of tea/coffee, and drinking water all
through the day.

All thumbs (and fingers) up! We would totally recommend this B&B to
anyone visiting St Petersburg.

Hi, please include the following recommendation in your Hotelinspector listing.  Thanks, Allan

I stayed at B&B Assembly for six days in early May 2006 and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This is a modern, very clean and welcoming four bedroom apartment B&B, nicely located within walking distance of most of the major attractions and near to a Metro Station if you wish to travel out to outlining attractions such as Peterhof Palace etc. It's located in a nice area with a full range of shops and services nearby. If all that wasn't enough, the owner, Natalia, turned out to be a treasure, always considerate, attentive, welcoming and willing to help in any way she could to make my stay enjoyable. I felt thoroughly relaxed and at home all the time I was there.

If you're looking for personal attention and to relax in nice surroundings you won't be disappointed.
