Street Address: Nevsky Prospect 147, apartment 36, Third floor *with elevator*

Rates: Standard single $100, standard double $115, semi-suite $120 , suite $140

Location Rating: Good. Right on Nevsky, in the historical part of the city, not far from the Monastery of Alexander Nevsky and Hotel Moscow.

Proximity To Metro: Very good. It's a 5 minute walk to Ploschad Alexandra Nevskogo metro station and about 15 minutes to Ploschad Vosstaniya metro station.

Lobby Appearance: It’s a very classy mini-hotel, with superb interiors, a nice porcelain chimney in the hall and just a wonderful feeling of coziness in the air.

Room Appearance: Great! I really loved the window curtains. Everything is clean, high-class but still very homey. All 9 rooms have clean bathrooms, air-conditioning, cable TV, a telephone, internet access, hairdryers. Smoking is not allowed.

Useful Nearby Businesses: Lots of shops on Nevsky Prospect.

Hotel Restaurants: There is a very nice small kitchen separated from the lobby area where you can order some special meals from the menu (you’ll find it in your room) if you would like to dine at "home." Every morning a continental breakfast is served for guests. They can seat a group up to 18 people.

Other Amenities: Laundry service, checking emails for free from the reception, safety deposit boxes, business center services, computer with printer, a small conference room, tours and excursions, booking tickets, transfers, ordering monthly passes for metro and bus/trolleybus/tram.

Would I Stay Here? Yes.

Staff Speaks English? Yes.

Comments: They have video monitoring of the parking area in front of the building along Nevsky. Pets are not welcome.

Hi Ed,
I also wanted to let you know that we stayed at this hotel and would highly recommend it for those who don't want a high end chain hotel.  The staff was amazing, the rooms cozy, beautiful bathroom and WONDERFUL breakfast (included).  It is very safe and a delightful place to stay!

We just spent 5 days in the hotel and it is wonderful.  Rooms are  comfortable, bathrooms wonderful, staff is great and the breakfast was quite good.  It is a treasure and very easy to use the trolley, bus, or metro.  Would recommend it without reservation.
