Would I Stay Here?

Staff Speaks English?

Comments: First of all, there was no sign at all saying that somewhere in this area is a hotel. I walked and walked around the courtyard trying to find at least anything that would indicate that tourists can live here…nothing. Then I called their telephone number and when I asked if this was Anik Inn a puzzled male voice, asked "What?", I repeated. He said "No," then "Wait a minute," and he gave the receiver to a woman. When I asked her if this was a hotel, an Anik Inn, she said "Yes." Okay, at least something. I explained what I wanted and she sounded almost terrified when I said I’d like to visit them now and asked for directions. Reluctantly she told me the apartment number. When I found the right apartment on the first floor of a rather crappy looking staircase I rang the doorbell. There were two of them (?). I rang the second one and waited. Nobody opened the door. I rang again, and again, and again. No answer. Then I started calling their phone number - the line was busy. In a while I got through but this time nobody answered. I tried calling several more times, both the doorbell and the phone, but nobody either opened or answered. I gave up. If she didn’t want me to visit them why not tell me that on the phone than keeping me waiting and making me waste my time?????
