Rates: They showed me 2 rooms. One was $64. The other was $84.

Location Rating: Very good. it is directly next to the much more upscale Vozdvyzhensky Hotel in a very interesting neighborhood with a craft/souvenir market.

Proximity To Metro: It's a good 15 to 20 minute walk to Poshtova Ploshchad metro station.

Lobby Appearance: Hmm... you might be looked upon with suspicion as you enter.

Room Appearance: The lady at the front desk had reluctance about the value in letting me see the rooms, but they were not that bad. For the price, it's not bad for this location.

Useful Nearby Businesses: Craft and souvenir vendors are on the street.

Hotel Restaurants: None. But you can eat next door at the Vozdvyzhensky Hotel.

Other Amenities:

Would I stay here? Yes, if economy was an important consideration.

Staff speaks English? No.

Comments: It is an economy hotel. The corridors are not fancy, but the rooms are okay. The $64 room I saw had a huge bathroom with poor lighting. The bed was too close to the floor. It had a 19 inch TV. The $84 room was better, larger, with newer furniture, and better bathroom lighting. I think it would be uncomfortable to deal with the non-English speakers at the reception desk.
