Rates: Single: 72.50 EURO. Double: 80 DOUBLE.
Location Rating: Near International Exhibition Centre "on the left bank of the Dniper River," but not in the center of the city.
Proximity To Metro: About a 3 minute walk. Livoberezhna metro station. They say it is an 8 minute ride to the city center.
Lobby Appearance: Big lobby with recent updating.
Room Appearance: This hotel is located on the 5th and 6th floors inside the Tourist Hotel. The quality of these rooms appears to be a little better. Candies are on top of the pillows. The carpet and furniture are good quality. Room #521 has two bathrooms, one with a good multi-jet shower, the other with a tub. The red and cream color scheme looks good. There is a 13 inch TV with VCR in the bedroom and a 20 inch TV in the relaxation room. Hmm... 80 euros for that? It doesn't sound right.
I noticed the rooms had a fully stocked mini-bar and snacks in the room. The better rooms have a hair dryer.
Useful Nearby Businesses: On the second floor of the complex is an upscale casino ("Joss" Casino) and entertainment center, including an English Pub, an Italian restaurant, and a strip tease bar. They are going to use a hand metal detector on you if you want to go the casino. And they force you to check your coat after you enter this entertainment center.
Hotel Restaurants: In the complex are 2 restaurants (Ukrainian, Japanese, European food), 2 bars and a night club.
Other Amenities: Internet access for $3 an hour. It costs about $35 for 2 hours in the sauna.
Would I Stay Here? Yes. I'd probably prefer it over the Tourist Hotel rooms.
Staff Speaks English? Yes.
Comments: Tastefully done. I noticed a slight hospital smell in the hallways, but the rooms are completely fine.
